Selling Unwanted Items

Decluttering isn’t just about deciding what to let go of — it’s also about knowing where things should go next. As part of my service I take away charity shop items free of charge, however some things may need to be sold. For many people, the selling stage is where overwhelm creeps in: the photos, the descriptions, the pricing, the posting, the admin. I help you navigate all of this with clarity, calm, and a plan that actually works for your life.

Auctioneer Support

Some items deserve a specialist eye. If you have antiques, collectibles, furniture, or higher‑value pieces, during our sessions I can help you:

  • Identify which items may be suitable for auction

  • Liaise with a local, trusted auctioneer

  • Arrange valuations and collections

This takes the pressure off you and ensures your items are handled professionally and respectfully.

Selling on Vinted & eBay

For clothing, accessories, homeware, kids’ items and more, online selling platforms can be a brilliant way to rehome things while earning a little back. During our sessions I can support you with:

  • Choosing the right platform for each item

  • Creating listings that attract buyers

  • Writing clear, honest descriptions

  • Pricing items realistically

  • Photographing items so they stand out

  • Setting up simple systems so selling doesn’t take over your life

Whether you want to learn the process or prefer hands‑on support during our session, I make selling feel manageable and even enjoyable.

Why this matters

Selling can be a powerful part of your decluttering journey. It helps you close the loop, feel in control of your belongings, and see the value in the decisions you’re making. My role is to remove the stress, simplify the steps, and help you move things on with confidence and ease.

  • “Amber helped me clear an entire room full of stuff, organise my kitchen, and make the living room feel like my own space. In addition to her effectiveness, bright attitude, and intuitive ideas, she is very patient. I attach myself to belongings, especially those I don't need, and yet Amber was kind and helped me let go of the clutter and jumble. I have since been able to build upon the foundation she helped me lay. Thank you Amber”

  • “Little did I know when I asked Amber for help decluttering that it would be so easy. I explained that caring for my poorly elderly mum made it impossible to declutter. Amber suggested to remove one thing a day. I gave it a go and as each month went by it became very satisfying. It was wonderful to have Amber cheering me on with lovely charming gentle manner. I would highly recommend this lovely lady who inspired me to sort my life out even when my life was so full on. Forever grateful dear Amber.”

    Karen

  • “I enlisted Amber to help me with the jobs that you always say youre going to do and never end up doing. Amber helped me organise my kitchen, my wardrobe and gave me some great ideas for storage solutions. I can now enjoy my free time without the pressure of those pesky jobs hanging over me. Worth every penny. Thank you Amber.”

  • “I recently employed the services of Amber Organises. My cupboard had not seen the light of day for sometime as I couldn’t face the chaos that was behind the curtain. Amber came in and helped me to feel at ease and soon reorganised the chaos into what I can now only describe as an amazing, well organised space. As a result, I managed to declutter around fifty percent without feeling pressured in any way. Thanks Amber.”

  • “I was kindly gifted a session with Amber, Wow- What a difference it’s made. We had a chat through each room giving lots of ideas and really great tips. Some great advice for the kitchen and my bedroom which I’ve tackled and it’s made me feel so much happier about my home. We spent big chunk of time in my daughter’s room decluttering and adding labels to boxes. It’s not only helped me when getting laundry away it’s helped her become independent with tidying on her own. She knows where everything is and loves it. I think everyone should have a slot with Amber, I’ve started to love my home again and I’m so thankful for that. 🥰”

  • “Amber was unceasingly helpful, considerate, hard-working, energetic and positive. She made my experience of beginning to empty my late father's flat much easier than I feared and we made excellent progress. I hope to ask for her help in the next round of making all those decisions about what to keep and what to let go.”

  • “I had a great experience working with Amber. She had a gentle non judgmental and yet very efficient way to deal with me and my cluttered chaotic spaces …. In a few hours we dealt with enormous amount of “stuff” and the room was transformed from a dirty mess into an organised and clean space . I will continue to work with Amber till my whole house is organised and sorted . Highly recommend Amber .”

  • “Amber made everything seem easy, from working out best times to bringing equipment and suggestions she made as we went through a LOT of stuff!! I wouldn't have known where to start - or where to go next - without Amber's wise suggestions. And she was so thoughtful with her decluttering techniques, I didn't feel at all deflated. In fact, it was liberating! So thank you kind Amber. You have a gift and are sharing it so brilliantly! 👏🥰”
